Registered Charity No. 208080
The Hardy Plant Society was formed to foster interest in hardy herbaceous plants on the widest possible scale.
As a registered charity it aims to educate the public about the wealth of both well and little known plants, and to ensure that all worthy plants remain in cultivation and have the widest possible distribution.

Local area groups such as the Rutland Group, which are not part of the charity, promote these aims by organising regular meetings, events, garden visits and talks to which non-members are also welcome.
